Examination Copies (for adoption consideration)

Educators who want to consider books for course adoption may request examination copies. Hardcover editions are sent on approval with invoice. Paperback editions will be sent at no charge. All paperback editions are available to professors for only $5.00 per book (to cover shipping and handling expenses). Hardcover editions are available at a 30 percent discount. To obtain an examination copy, you will need to mail or fax us your request on institutional letterhead and provide the following information. You may also use our Review Copy Request form. Upon receipt of the completed form, a customer representative will contact you for payment information.

• Name, address, phone number, and e-mail address
• Course name and season taught decision maker’s name
• Name of current text in use
• Expected enrollment Expected decision date
• Indicate if text will be recommended or required

NOTE: There is a limit of two exam copies per semester. We will contact you in approximately 30 days to learn your decision regarding the use of this book in your course.

Desk Copies (for adopted books)

If you adopt an OU Press book for use in your classroom and have placed an order for 10 or more copies, you are eligible to receive a refund for your hardcover purchase. Please mail or fax your refund request on institutional letterhead and provide the following information:

• Name, address (no P.O. Boxes), phone number, and e-mail address
• Course name and season taught
• Expected enrollment
• Indicate if text will be recommended or required
• A copy of bookstore order or bookstore name and contact information
