Rosemary G. Palmer
Rosemary G. Palmer received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Utah State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming. She is currently an associate professor in the College of Education at Boise State University. For many years she has studied children in history, and her research has focused on children's literacy of the past and present, children's memories, and nineteenth-century society. Rosemary has traveled the California, Oregon, and Mormon trails, and she is the author of journal articles about pioneer children and about literacy of young people today. She and her husband, Fred W. Palmer, are parents of two children.
