Jane Little Botkin visits the Aurora History Museum to discuss her new book “The Girl Who Dared to Defy : Jane Street and the Rebel Maids of Denver.” The book touches on gender, labor, and local history through the Denver housemaids union strike of 1916. Botkin is a teacher turned multiple-award winning author whose nonfiction work explores the nature of life in the American West.

You can attend this lecture in-person at the museum, or online. The lecture is free, but you must register to receive the link to the online Webex meeting. More than one person can attend using the same computer.
