Jane Little Botkin visits the Aurora History Museum to discuss her new book “The Girl Who Dared to Defy : Jane Street and the Rebel Maids of Denver.” The book touches on gender, labor, and local history through the Denver housemaids union strike of 1916. Botkin is a teacher turned multiple-award winning author whose nonfiction work explores the nature of life in the American West.
